The goal of the R&D Program is to properly allocate human and financial resources to projects that demonstrate the originality, applicability, relevance and economic feasibility of products and services in energy processes and end uses. It seeks to foster a culture of innovation by encouraging research and development in the Brazilian power sector, creating new equipment and improving service delivery in ways that contribute to the security of the electricity supply, affordable tariffs, and reduced environmental impact and technological dependence for the country.
