Go far beyond work orders
With In Forma’s O&M Suite, you get a set of solutions to transform the way you maintain your assets and increase your facility’s reliability!
EquipMaint is In Forma Software's solution for integrated operation and maintenance management in the electric sector, also known as In Forma O&M Suite. It brings together maintenance planning, scheduling, execution and analysis in a single platform, helping to optimize processes, reduce unplanned downtime and improve operational efficiency.
EquipMaint is designed for electric sector companies that need to manage the maintenance of assets and equipment, whether concentrated in a single plant or geographically dispersed. In Forma Software has worked exclusively with software since 1993 and serves more than 60 business groups in the electric sector in Brazil and Latin America.
EqM Maintenance is the EquipMaint solution focused on optimizing processes and cutting red tape in electric sector maintenance routines. It serves companies whose facilities and equipment are concentrated in a single plant or geographically dispersed, and that need efficiency, safety and compliance in maintenance management.
Because the nature of electric sector processes leaves no room for low reliability, the risk of regulatory penalties or the waste of human and material resources. Maintaining distributed assets requires resource optimization and compliance with the management requirements of energy and other utility infrastructure, which generic asset management software does not address.
EquipMaint covers the complete cycle in seven stages: maintenance policies, maintenance planning, maintenance scheduling, pre-operation, maintenance execution, real-time operation, and analysis and improvements. Data from one stage feeds the next, which delivers full traceability and continuous improvement.
An integrated system reduces unplanned downtime, saves labor costs and avoids costly unscheduled repairs by automating maintenance and operation tasks. It also makes communication and information sharing between operation and maintenance teams easier, improving coordination and teamwork.
Yes. EquipMaint's integrated management can be scaled to meet the constantly evolving needs of the company as it grows, whether in the number of assets, facilities or teams involved in operation and maintenance.
The maintenance module includes, among others, the 52-Week Plan Report, the Schedule Report, the Overdue Activities Report and the Planned vs. Actual Report. They provide visibility into what was planned, what is scheduled and what remains pending.
The ONS SAM is the Maintenance Monitoring System (Sistema de Acompanhamento da Manutenção) of ONS, Brazil's National Grid Operator (Operador Nacional do Sistema Elétrico), which gathers the basic structures for monitoring the maintenance of facilities. It organizes information along four axes: ONS family, equipment (BDT), RMMs and AMMs.
EquipMaint allows you to map the BDT to the asset and equipment register, register the Minimum Maintenance Activities (AMMs), define periodic maintenance criteria (predictive and preventive) and submit the PMM. It also automatically submits the execution of orders (RMMs and AMMs) and provides a support report for handling SAM logs.
The PMM is the Minimum Maintenance Plan (Plano Mínimo de Manutenção) for concessions, which must be submitted to ONS. With EquipMaint, the company registers its assets, defines the activities and periodicity criteria, and submits the PMM for all of its concessions through the platform itself, integrated with ONS's SGBDIT.
RMMs and AMMs are the minimum maintenance orders and activities required by ONS. AMM stands for Minimum Maintenance Activity (Atividade Mínima de Manutenção). In EquipMaint, AMMs are registered in the system, and the execution of orders (RMMs and AMMs) is sent automatically to ONS.
The ONS SGBDIT integration connects EquipMaint to ONS databases for submitting the PMM and maintenance orders. In the 2024 PMM, the volume includes more than 25 thousand pieces of equipment in the BDT, more than 14 thousand RMMs and AMMs and more than 650 thousand items in the plan.
For power transmission companies, EquipMaint records the activities resulting from maintenance orders, and this record makes it possible to save on the Variable Portion (Parcela Variável, PV), which applies only to transmission companies. EquipMaint also tracks the completion of activity work plans, which gives control over deadlines and execution.
EquipMaint was developed to ensure full compliance with the Normative Resolutions REN 906/2020 and REN 861/2019 and with circular letters 01/2021 and 08/2021 of ANEEL (Brazil's National Electric Energy Agency). Compliance reduces the risk of regulatory penalties, a central concern in electric sector asset management.
EquipMaint divides management into three fronts: planning (preventive and predictive maintenance, 52-week plan and planned vs. actual report), scheduling (work order, APR and overdue activities report) and execution with mobility. Each front has its own reports for monitoring.
EqM Mobile (EquipMaint Mobile) is the mobile field maintenance management app. It allows teams to carry out inspections (OS) and interventions (SI) directly on site, with digital records and automatic synchronization with the EqM system.
The app includes features for recording inspections, measurements and work order information, as well as an inspection and measurement checklist and anomaly logging. It also shows the location of facilities on a map.
Carrying out inspections and interventions in the field requires mobility, accuracy and integration with corporate systems, without which data is lost and efficiency is low. EqM Mobile increases productivity, reduces errors and ensures full traceability of the actions performed.
EqM Materials is the EquipMaint module that integrates the management of supplies and parts into the maintenance process. It offers inventory control, traceability and consumption planning, and covers warehouse, storage, movement and replenishment.
Because, without visibility into inventories and movements, the management of permanent materials, spare parts and components is questionable and ineffective. EqM Materials avoids waste and promotes availability and agility in fixed or mobile warehouses.
PowerInspekt is In Forma's solution for visual inspection of transmission lines with analysis of images captured by drones. It organizes a collection of thousands of media files and uses artificial intelligence to identify components and defects.
Manual visual inspection is error-prone and costly, and makes it hard to identify defects accurately. PowerInspekt digitizes the process, reduces costs and increases productivity. It automatically recognizes and classifies defects, stores thousands of images simply and securely, and integrates with asset management software.
